Completed setup and test of the system, which now is based on WPMU 2.7.1, BB 1.0.1 and bbP 1.0-RC3.

Invited beta test team to review and evaluate the setup. The goal is to go live at the end of August.

Returned home from a short break in Southern California to find BudyPress 1.01 being released.

Installed the update and started testing to see if earlier problems I found have been fixed.

Site is up running now with WordPressMU, BuddyPress and bbPress.

Starting to test the various components.

Work started again on the Site, replacing the RailsSpace code with BuddyPress.

Goal for public access is planned for beginning of August.

About The UN/EDIFACT Network

This site was created for participants within UN/CEFACT and its predecessor UNECE Working Party 4 (WP.4) as a place to record the fun times, renew friendships, and record the history!


Here is a short summary of the feature available to registered users.


For starters the site general blog section as maintained by the admin serves for news and announcements.


The member section allows you to view the member list, browse for members alphabetically, search for members, and view featured members in a little featured members sidebar box. Clicking on a member takes you to that member’s profile with links to his or her own blog, activity list, wire (a mini-blog), friends, and groups.


Like the members section, the group section allows you to view a list of groups, browse groups alphabetically, search groups, and view featured groups. Clicking on a group link takes you to that group’s homepage, which has the same basic layout as the members’ pages, with home, forum, wire, and members sections.


Finally, there’s a blogs section which, unlike the blog section (no “s”), this section displays a familiar list of users’ blogs. You can browse blogs alphabetically, search for blogs, or view the featured blogs. The layout is identical to the members and groups sections.
